This report describes an applied research project (RP 17/90) undertaken in Nanyang Technological University during 1990/91. In this project, computer contouring of sea-bed topography is presented based on Kriging method for the Johor Strait. This automates the input of water depths into a finite element tidal model which is formulated on the shallow water theory.en_US
