Abstract: Using the method of tracking marked particles, the Lagrangian transport of suspended pollutants discharging from ten arbitrarily designated sources are obtained from a finite element tidal model for Johor Strait. They are used to study the mid-term pollutant convective transport characteristics in the estuary for a time duration of six days following the release of pollutants.
