Abstract: This thesis is focused on the development of active noise control (ANC) system for an air handling unit (AHU). The objective is to scrutinize algorithms in reducing noises induced by the fan within AHU using an active control method. It also presents methods in dealing with many practical factors that impede the optimal noise reduction during the implementation of ANC for the AHU.
