Abstract: The recent development of H.264 video compression standard makes it possible to transmit high quality video contents over the wirelesses network at low bitrate. There are many implementations of streaming servers and client but not enough work is done on the implementation of the H.264 file format. All the streaming information is written inside the H.264 file format and streaming server and client only act as a transmitter and reader based on the information available inside the file. The implementation of mobile compatible H.264 video bitstream and the implementation of H.264 file format based on the ISO MP4 file format standard will make it possible to stream the H.264 video over the wireless network and mobile phones will be able to connect and play the video.
