dc.description.abstractIn this dissertation, a complete face recognition system, including face detection, alignment and verification is developed on mobile device. The face recognition system prototype is built on 02 XDA Flame mobile phone running at 1 frame per 2 second, which is almost capable for real-time face recognition application. Face detection and face verification are based on subspace method - one of state-of-art techniques for face recognition. Face alignment is achieved through eye detection and it is very fast. It takes only 66~78 ms when running on mobile device or less than 2 ms when running on Intel Due CPU @2.66GHz.en_US
