dc.description.abstractWind energy presents great potential for applications in as a renewable source for power systems. However, it is an unsteady power source due to the randomness of the wind speed. Accordingly when a wind generator is connected to the grid, it will cause frequency deviation in the power system and if the injection level is high, it can be a serious problem in terms of power quality. Hence it is important and necessary to find a way to calculate and analyze the wind power impacts on system frequency.en_US
