Abstract: In recent few years a novel class of composite materials called metamaterials are introduced to scientific and engineering societies which have offered excessive research interests and given promising future of employing the unique properties of metamaterials in various devices and antennas. The novelty of Metamaterials is that their specific properties are because of their structure. The artificial structure provides scientists and engineers with numerous degrees of freedom enabling them to realize their desired design characteristics conveniently.
