Abstract: This report presents the design, implementation and verification of a wireless remote controller system operating at 433.92MHz frequency, based on ASK modulation & detection scheme. The communication follows the RC5 protocol employing Manchester Coding otherwise known as Bi-phase coding to ensure robust half-duplex communication. The choice of system architecture, hardware & protocol specification is driven by low-cost requirement as well as the need for easy implementation on consumer and industrial application.
