dc.description.abstractThis project aims at designing a tomography based switched-capacitor capacitance measuring system to detect the presence of individual articles or droplets within the process vessels or pipelines in the form of capacitive-to-voltage conversion. The performance of the front-end interface is crucial to the performance of the measuring system. A new fully-integrated switched-capacitor (SC) front-end capacitive transducer, which employs the correlated double sampling (CDS) technique to reduce the dc offset and 1/f noise of the CMOS amplifier, is proposed.en_US
