Various methods have been applied for the suppression of ambient noise while minimizing the extent of speech distortion. Adaptive filtering has been used for speech denoising in the time domain. During the last few decades, wavelet transform has been developed for speech enhancement. In this project we are proposing to use adaptive filtering in the wavelet domain.
