Title: | Control of ultra-capacitor based power electronic converters | Authors: | Yogama Ralalage Laksumana Jayawickrama | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Power electronics | Issue Date: | 2007 | Source: | Yogama, R. L. J. (2007). Control of ultra-capacitor based power electronic converters. Doctoral thesis, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. | Abstract: | The performance and properties of power converters operating with constant voltage sources, such as batteries and rectifiers, have been thoroughly analysed in the existing power converter literature. However the same has not been done for power converters supplied by capacitors. This may be because the energy densities of conventional capacitors have not been sufficiently high to use them widely as replacements for batteries. However with the development of ultracapacitors having moderate energy densities, this situation has now changed. | Description: | 248 p. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/46958 | DOI: | 10.32657/10356/46958 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | open | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
