dc.description.abstractA bioreactor for culturing oesophageal cells has been developed by the NTU bioreactor team, principally by S. Wijaya. This bioreactor applies low cyclic strains to the esophageal smooth muscle cells. The aim of this project is to assess the strain produced in the scaffold when the bioreactor is run at strains varying from 0 to 12%.en_US
