Authors: Tong, Yong Feng.

Issue Date: 2010
Abstract: In the present-day globalised, networked economy, companies commonly operate in value chains. One such value chain is the ubiquitous supply chain ((SC). The Multi- National Corporation (MNC) is a typical supply chain master. MNC identifies and selects dependable partners (e.g. suppliers or vendors) so the company can deliver on its promises to its customers. In support of this partner selection activity, Multi- Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques can help short-list partners. Such MCDM methods include Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Deviation Measure Method, ELECTRE and PROMETHEE etc.
