For better survival odds and lesser use of treatments and therapies and, therefore, lesser side-effects, many imaging systems are continually being developed to diagnose this disease as early as possible. In this thesis, a comprehensive literature review of the various breast imaging systems, which are currently being used clinically or studied experimentally, is given.
