A general slip boundary condition of fluid flow on solid surfaces.

In view of advancement in MEMS and biological technology, enormous interest has moved into microfluidics. Flows often behave differently at small length scales than macroscopic situation, which have serious implications for microfludic devices. The goal of this research is to derive a shear-dependent slip model that derived from microscopic view, which can be applied to describe the flow behavior at micro-scale and nano- scale.
