Abstract: Genetic sequence mutation in pathogen leading to resistance in applied antibiotic is a major health concern globally. New drug discoveries are usually expensive, time consuming and have become less affinity to new strain bacteria after a few years. As recently as a few years ago, "Biosurgery Maggot Debridement Therapy" was reintroduced for application in chronic wounds to combat antibiotic resistance formation. Therefore, this study focuses on detection of antibacterial substances suspended in the maggot body extract by biochemical analysis.
