Abstract: Singapore has been a staunch proponent of Free Trade Agreements (FTA). Its Ministry of Trade and Industry has reported that Singapore has 18 FTAs in force, 2 FT As which have just been concluded and 5 more under negotiations. Despite this number, the government of Singapore is not stopping its search for potential countries to secure FTAs with.
