Title: | Chemical doping in single-walled carbon nanotubes and their applications | Authors: | Raj Kumar | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Microelectronics | Issue Date: | 2012 | Source: | Raj, K. (2012). Chemical doping in single-walled carbon nanotubes and their applications. Doctoral thesis, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. | Abstract: | This dissertation includes the main findings achieved during my PhD project. It contains doping in single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and the applications of the doping effect. Two issues have been raised to study the electron transport properties of SWCNTs in the field effect transistors (FETs) geometry. The first issue is to study the effects of several chemical functionalizations on the electronic transport properties of SWCNTs as an active channel in SWCNT-FETs. The second is to adjust the electronic transport properties of SWCNTs through employing different work function metals as S/D electrodes of the SWCNT-FETs. The relevant experiments in this project were designed and implemented to study the effect of doping on the transport properties of SWCNTs and, provide a deep insight into the working mechanisms of different types SWCNT based FETs and complex logic circuits. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/48375 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
