Abstract: This report covers the learning experience of the author while doing his Final Year Project (FYP). The aim of this FYP is to create an Android mobile application with Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation with waypoints and allows the user to navigate from one point to another just by using an Android Smartphone. There will be reviews on similar Android mobile applications which are currently available on the Android market. The review will include on the features of the applications as well as their pros and cons. A brief description of the specification of the hardware equipments used in the project will be included. Features of the mobile application in this project will be explained and how they are achieved. Also, the problems that were encountered during the development will be included as well as their solutions. Lastly, this report concludes with the overall conclusion of the author’s learning and future recommendation for the application.
