Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: Classification is one of the most frequently encountered decision making tasks of human activity. Classification systems are needed in order to classify various kinds of data such as biological data, financial data, weather data... Besides many classification methods, neural networks have emerged as an important tool for classification. The objectives of this project are researching on a Projection Based Learning of Meta-cognitive Neural Network(PBL-McNN), implementing a classification system based on the algorithm, and evaluating the performance of the PBL-McNN classifier using a set of benchmark classification problems from the UCI machine learning repository.
