Abstract: With the mobile technology explosion, life is made easier and more convenient to the consumer. So why not apply this to the medical and health sector. With cloud computing/processing gaining momentum, we can apply this technology to the medical field. With the Illness Tracker system, people suffering from epilepsy and possibly other chronic illnesses can make use of the mobile devices connected to the cloud to update/log their condition to information databases where medical personnel can conveniently view and access their condition. This solves the problem of patients having the need to write down and essentially making a diary of their relapses and passing information over to medical personnel. Having this done on their mobile devices which nowadays are almost always carried around with the person, the problem of tiresome logging can be alleviated along with the seamless transfer of information to the medical personnel.
