Abstract: In this project, a new 5-turn hemisphere antenna is designed, simulated, built and investigated. It has good features such as self-matched, wide bandwidth, high antenna gain, low backlobe and better AR (Axial Ratio). These features are very important to current and next generation GPS receiver's performance. Compared with other commercial antenna performance, this antenna shows some advantages.
