Abstract: In this thesis, cross-coupled generalized predictive control algorithms (GPC) with reference models on input and outputs of the process will be developed. The control algorithms provide the combined feedback / feedforward control, resulting in pole-zero cancellation of pole, which do not correspond to the reference models. Hence, the system behaves asymptotically as the reference model, provided the cancelled poles are stable.
