Abstract: Letterpress is a method of printing that requires the use of moveable type made out of wood or metal, and it has become largely unused in Singapore. This project is a personal exploration of letterpress printing in our digital culture today. It explores letterpress’ potential as an aid in understanding typographical usage, and in pushing creativity. It seeks to understand letterpress’ place in today’s digital, paperless world.
