Title: Sound as a storytelling medium.
Authors: Wong, Kai Wing.
Keywords: DRNTU::Visual arts and music
Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: Storytelling can exist in many different channels. It can be in the form of words, photographs, moving images and sound. The media that we are exposed to in our everyday lives is often a combination of these elements, thus, the significance of how each element has a story on its own and how they are crafted to complement the each other is sometimes overlooked. By isolating each element, we will then be able to better understand the ideas and techniques behind them. Therefore, I had chosen sound as the topic which I will be researching on and at the same time, working on a soundscape project to exercise my research
