Title: | Queen Marina. | Authors: | Khan, Benjamin Liheng. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Film::Digital DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Animation::3D |
Issue Date: | 2012 | Abstract: | QUEEN MARINA is a story set in the near future about a policewoman of indeterminate age and origin stationed at a beach overnight stop point for heavy vehicles. Every morning, she must activate a button to make the ocean split and allow the vehicles to cross the ocean safely. While doing her duties, she is accompanied by her trusty vintage radio; as the music plays, she reveals her longing for her true dream: to become a world-renowned opera singer. I hope this simple story showcases how much the human spirit can overcome one’s circumstances with unique imagination and belief in oneself. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/49048 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
