Abstract: With the rapid development in technology, copyright protection has always been a problem in protecting digital contents. The solution is to make use of digital watermarks to protect our digital contents. However, with current technology, this approach can be easily removed by altering the image itself using image editor programs. Therefore, it is recommended the use of invisible watermarks, which are more secure and robust than visible watermarks. Nowadays, with the fast processing power of a smart phone device, employing digital watermarking scheme based on Scale-Invariant feature Transformation (SIFT) and Wiener Filtering, will be easy. In this project, we want to find out, whether a digital watermarking process can be easily without run taking too much time. The result of the proposed scheme is able to resist image attacks such as scaling, cropping and rotating. An application is created to implement an already published watermarking algorithm. The algorithm is implemented in java and deployed on an Android smart phone.
