Abstract: To match the demand for multi-user real time collaborative work, various collaborative systems like Generic Collaborative Engine (GCE) are designed and implemented. In order to test, debug and benchmark such design, we need to build a framework. A web based application called OTXplorer was designed to address such need. Users, at their end can use the system to create scenarios by simply drawing arrows and lines on graphical user interface. Then the graph would be translated into input script and send over to the server engine for testing purpose. After a series of examination, the server would return an output script which is to be interpreted and graphically shown on the client side. The project aims at improving the system performance by providing undo and redo features and batch processing in the system. The report would detail the design and implementation process of the project. Testing scenarios would also be analyzed. At the end, thoughts on next movement would be detailed.
