Intravascular ultrasound imaging using advanced signal processing techniques

Abstract

In this thesis, our main objective has been to study IVUS image analysis for tissue characterization using tissue image processing techniques. As IVUS image analysis involves texture classifications, we conducted an in-depth study of IVUS image textures. Apart from that we also investigated different signal processing techniques of tissue characterization using IVUS.
