Title: Capacity curves of residential buildings in Singapore
Authors: Ong, Zhen Yun.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Civil engineering::Structures and design
Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: Static non-linear (pushover) analysis on the existing buildings in Singapore is performed to determine the capacity curves for the residential buildings in Singapore via the aid of the structural software ETABS. 7 Generic buildings and 3 HDB buildings sampled across Singapore were evaluated. To allow for a good representation of the capacity curves for buildings in Singapore, the building classes defined for pushover analysis are by number of stories.
