Sustainable development of an international maritime centre

Abstract

This paper explored the ability of an International Maritime Centre (IMC) to sustain itself in face of the dynamism present in the current market. The continuous depression of the maritime industry and the freight market had highlighted the need to look into the sustainability of IMCs all around the world. Research had shown that there was a considerable research gap in existing sustainability studies of industries, including maritime clusters all over the world.
