Abstract: Miniaturized precision timing devices have been evolving through the decades and are of an area of great interest to engineers. They are devices which can be found in many electronic devices and thus engineers seek to continually improve them to increase their capabilities and compatibilities. This project is a study of different types of precision measuring devices, mainly focusing on Micro-Electro Mechanical Oscillators and Oven-Controlled Crystal Oscillators.
