Authors: Ng, Chee Tiong.

Issue Date: 2005
Abstract: The technology of television has certainly come a long way considering the fact that the changes to this technology have not been as explosive when compared to the Internet and email. The arrival of Digital Television (DTV) is going to change the way viewers watch and interact with their television sets like never before. This dissertation gives an overview of how feasible is it to use a low profile Planar Inverted F-Antenna (PIFA) for DTV reception in densely built-up Singapore, considering the fact that most outdoor antennas are either not feasible or not allowed in Singapore.
