Abstract: Directional loudspeakers are increasing being known to people and being use in many areas ranging from entertainment to military uses. There are many ways to generate directional sound and the best technique is the use of parametric loudspeakers. To effective drive a parametric loudspeaker with the consideration of power usage, this project explores the use of “Pulse Width Modulation” and its implementation with Class D amplifiers to drive a parametric loudspeaker.
