Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: Over the past decades, the prediction of solar radiation has been an attractive research field in time series analysis. It may be of great importance for many applications like power electric, water cleaning and biological engineer. In such applications, it is relatively easy to improve their efficiency with accurate solar prediction. However, there is very little research on solar radiation prediction. Furthermore, the solar radiation of different area may vary greatly because of the totally different weather condition which makes the design of prediction model challenging. This is especially true with regard to hourly solar radiation prediction.
