Abstract: The global warming issue has led to enhance the importance of developing clean energy technologies to better utilize alternative sources of energy. Singapore geographical limitations suit the solar energy is most easily accessible clean energy. Solar energy is one of renewal energy sources to replace the conventional energy sources such as coal and gas. Solar energy reaches earth as compared to the primary energy used by the human is few thousand times of higher than primary energy. Therefore, the potential of this solar energy is enormous and makes solar energy a crucial component of a current renewable energy.
