One such UAV is the quadcopter, popular due to its mechanical simplicity. The potential applications and fields of research for such UAVs range from swarm robotics to area-mapping and interior navigation. This project aims to develop the foundations of a Quadcopter drone fit for entry into a competition involving indoor navigation.
