Abstract: As of March 6, 2012, Apple's app store contained more than 550,000 iOS applications, which have collectively been downloaded more than 25 billion times. IOS has since been extended to support Apple mobile devices such as the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Apple TV. IOS has been become the most attractive platform for the apple users, as well as developers. This project is to provide a whole solution to design a multi-player iPad game portal application (Chinese chess) using application development language (HTML, C++) and native Objective C. With the ipad’s multi-touch capability, the application has the following features: • Practice (solo game) o Play with AI o Play with human o Retract false move o Replay • Game configuration o Chess board o Chess piece • User registration • Multi-players with Real-time Play
