Abstract: Growing interests of RF energy harvesting system design has been boosted among millions of researchers for a long time.Various rectennas which function as a tool to recieve and rectify an input RF or microwave power to DC voltage which could be directly stored or used by mobile devices or other electrical equipments has been designed by many scientists.Major obstacles of these previous similiar work include either lacking proper matching network or output voltage’s being not high enough. This paper explores and studies basic methods to solve these problems.A complete system block has been built up with voltage multiplier circuit and matching network thereotically.Simulation results by using ADS Harmonic Balance method has been shown and the values of matching network’s elements have been calculated. The voltage multiplier circuits has been fabricated by using HSMS 2820 diodes and other circuit elements. After measuring the relative voltage values, experimental data has been shown to verify the simulation results.
