Title: | Development of quad-rotor platform | Authors: | Chia, Kai Bin. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Control and instrumentation | Issue Date: | 2012 | Abstract: | In the high technological world today, control systems play a big role in the lives of mankind. Developers from across the globe continue to explore the huge market of engineering, creating highly efficient and effective machines. These machines are designed with many different kind of electronic device, mechanical parts mounted onto different platforms, integrating them into a system to fulfill the task and requirement of each user.Quad-rotor, a platform which developers look into in recent years, is the development of an aerial machine which uses the air as its mode of maneuverability. As stated in the name of the machine, Quad-rotor propelled itself using four motors mounted at a right angle from each other. These motors are connected to a central controller board which controls the speed of the rotation, thus controlling its mobility and its maneuverability. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/49664 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
