dc.description.abstractThis project briefly outlines the theory behind memristors, memcapacitors and the properties of their related systems. An instructional approach is taken through the first sections to describe the function of a memristor, the memristor is modelled on MATLAB and PSPICE, and the results of this investigation are interpreted. A memcapacitor is also modelled in MATLAB. The aim of this project is to provide an instructional text to those who wish a brief introduction to mem-systems circuit theory.en_US
