Abstract: This report presents the implementations and control of single-phase unity power factor rectifier. The implemented rectifier is a bi-directional boost rectifier. An adaptive controller is installed to regulate the output voltage and to achieve a unity power factor and also in the case of loading. The experimental results are provided to show the controller capability in correcting the power factor to unity and regulating output voltage.
