Abstract: A star tracker is an optical sensor that measures the relative position of stars using photocells or an optical imaging device. It is becoming widely popular as an attitude determination method due to its accuracy. Another advantage of a star tracker is that it is fully autonomous in determining the spacecraft attitude.
