Title: | Performance study of frequency hopping systems over a fading channel in the presence of jamming | Authors: | Ang, Qingfeng | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Wireless communication systems | Issue Date: | 2012 | Abstract: | Over the past few decades, spread spectrum (SS) communication system has attracted attention in both military and commercial applications. It was originally developed to improve the reliability and security of radio transmissions and was used to combat against hostile enemies‟ jammers in the aspect of electronic warfare. As such they became increasingly important for applications that involve radio links in hostile environments. They are now commonly used in civilian applications such as cellular systems and GPS which are rapidly becoming one of the most commonly used systems. Two popular SS systems are direct sequence spread spectrum systems and frequency hopping spread spectrum systems. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/49811 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
