Title: | Microcontroller based high performance PWM inverter | Authors: | Nu, Nu Yi. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Electronic circuits | Issue Date: | 2005 | Abstract: | This thesis investigates the use of a low cost microcontroller for remotely controlling a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) inverter. The objective is to implement a basic control system using a proportional plus integral (PI) controller, and an advanced control approach using sliding mode controller for the closed-loop control of the inverter. The microcontroller board has been used to implement the control functions to generate PWM signals and establish a switching scheme to control a single-phase inverter in a closed loop system. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/4982 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
