dc.description.abstractThe focus of this report is on high efficiency DC-AC inverter research in order to achieve a unity power factor converter used in tidal/wind based power generation for optimal power extraction. Research has been done on hard switching three phase PWM inverter and factors causing power loss. Various soft-switching topologies had been used to investigate and to achieve minimum switching loss and better efficiency. Calculation and simulation had been done to prove the stand.en_US
