Abstract: Due to the advancement in technology and demands of robots in industry, robots are becoming more and more popular these days. Robots can perform tasks in dangerous places. They can also accomplish repetitive tasks for long hours without tiring and boring. It is a very good idea to set up robots in dangerous and/or repetitive works where humans are not interested to do. Therefore robot arm is designed using SCARA robot. But in industry, energy savings and cost effectiveness are very important factors to be considered.
