Abstract: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) today are not only used by the military but also has civilian applications. Vertical Take-Off Landing (VTOL) UAVs have indoor applications as it is highly maneuverable and does not require a runway. However, since a UAV aims to reduce human exposure to hazardous environments, an automatic control system is required to control the vehicle. In this project, an automatic control system was developed for a UAV concurrently with another FYP project, which was designing and developing the physical UAV.
