Abstract: This project performed the feasibility study on energy harvesting from rainfall on tall buildings in urban cities like Singapore. The potential energy of rainwater collected on the rooftop of tall buildings is captured and converted into electrical power using hydro generator when rainwater is allowed at high level is allowed to drive the Pelton hydro turbine at the ground level.
