Title: | Design of optimal digital filters | Authors: | Qiu, Guangju. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Computer hardware, software and systems | Issue Date: | 2012 | Abstract: | This project is to study two methods for designing digital filters with a Minimax design criterion. They are Sequential Constrained Least-Squares Method combined with Steiglitz-McBride (SCLS-SM) and Sequential Minimization Procedure for Minimax Design of IIR Filter Based on Second-Order Factor Updates (SMSOF) which refers to converting the non-convex optimization problem into the convex problem and the stability issue of IIR filters. The Minimax design of infinite impulse response (IIR) digital filters is a non-convex optimization problem, and thus has many local minima. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/50206 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
